Pop Art Movement

The movement of the Pop Art was in Britain and in America in 1950s and 60s. As a result there appeared a lot of products of mass media. This network is considered to derive from pop culture but it won huge popularity all over the United States and was called a major artistic movement in the 20th century. Before that period there was a strong barrier between high art and mass culture. The barrier was broken down by artworks that based on television, advertising and comic books.
